With the history of vaginismus, it’s better to keep pain from coming back to the area and triggering the vaginismus to relapse. Really you have to weigh the pros and cons of each method of delivery. A c-section certainly comes with a lot of recovery but so does vaginal delivery due to tearing and pelvic floor damage.
